Girl's Camp

I went to Girl's Camp as head cook again this year for our stake. I had the most awesome ladies to work with. I really couldn't have done it without them. I was so lucky to have my 18-year-old with me as well. We all worked together like a well-oiled machine. We had so much fun, it really didn't seem like work at all. We really had a great time.

We always tried to make it fun in the kitchen. We really enjoyed our YCL's and their hard working ways. They were the best. Our meals were simple, but tasted great. The camp seemed to be pleased with them. I am so blessed I got to go to Young Women's Camp again this year. Maybe I will get to go every year. :o)

Now it is back to my crazy life, with my crazy kids, and my crazy husband. I love summer. I just wish I could stop and enjoy it more.

We are so proud of the Wolf's. This month Kristen and Norm graduated. Norm got his Masters of Science in Project Management, from the GWU School of Business (five years in the making!) and Kristen Graduated High School with Honors. Even Ida graduates the 8th grade with high marks. We are so proud!!

Come all and enjoy celebating with us!! We're having a party.

Devin Rupp was working as an ENT for the graduation. Sister Rupp was there just as a Mother and to watch all the youth in our ward graduate. We loved to see them there.

Check out Kristen's bare feet...her shoes broke and she had to go bare foot. This is her with her two friends from our ward that graduated with her. Chase and Mariel.

UPDATE JAN. 14, 2012

Sam returned with Honor on Jan. 11th 2012. We are so very proud of him and his decistion to serve the Lord for 2 years. Now he is ready to start really living his life.
He is thinking he wants to go to the University of Utah in the Fall and join the ROTC program.
There will be many months for him to think about this plan. Right now he is looking for a job and getting use to his crazy family again.

UPDATE AUG. 24, 2011

Sam is now in North Orange County serving in the Ladera Ranch. He is now District Leader and he is training a bran new missionary. His companions name is Elder Benjamin Bills. He is from Katy, TX. They are both doing some amazing work. Please keep them both in your prayers.

UPDATE SEPT. 15, 10

Sam is still in Orange County. His Companion Elder Clayton went home so his 4th Comp. is Elder Dieter. He is 6' 6" and is from Danvers, Mass. He has been out 21 months so Sam will send him home as well.

They just moved into another Members house that had more room. They have been trying to talk to 300 people in a week, and they made their goal and then some.

He is realizing how easy it is to serve others, but really hard to let other serve him. He know nows it is important to let them get blessings of service as well.

The economy in Southern CA is not to good. Many people they run into are having a hard time with their mortgages are just struggling to put food on the table. Many are unemployed. This is a bad time all over the country.

Sam has asked us to keep Southern CA in our prayers and we surely will.

UP DATE: JULY 23, 2010

Sam is now in Orange Country. He is serving in the Lake Forest area. He says the weather is more hot and humid where he is and he is having a difficult time adjusting, but he will manage.

He is with a new companion, Elder Clayton. He is from Hawaii. He is 5' 10",thin and blonde. He leaves his mission in 5 weeks. Until then Sam is having a great time with him.

They live with members in a condo. He says it's tight, but they make it work. He is know in a more populated area where he can tract better.

No one could prepare us for how bad we have missed him, but we know he is where he is suppose to be, serving the Lord. We are very proud of him and we know the people of CA. love him as much as we do. He is in good hands and we are very proud of him.
